2010 Show Announcement

Pipedream is proud to announce our 2010 show: Nine by Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit. This award-winning musical enjoyed a long run on Broadway in 1982 under the direction of Tommy Tune, and is soon to be a major motion picture featuring some of the world’s most talented performers. Based on Fellini’s film 8 ½ , Nine tells the story of film director Guido Contini as he faces a stalled film project, a complicated love life… and his fortieth birthday. The show calls for a large cast and showcases a lot of individual talent, so stay tuned for audition info!
Nine will go up in June 2010 at Performance Works on Granville Island. The team so far includes Director Mike Mackenzie and Stage Manager Amy Tipton, both returning from last year’s successful production of William Finn’s A New Brain, and Producer April Green. Any questions regarding involvement or sponsorship can be forwarded to info(at)pipedream.ca

Thank You!

Thanks to all the people who helped make our production of A New Brain a success!  Pipedream could not have done it without the hard work and generosity of the cast, production team, musicians, volunteers, venue staff,
and sponsors.

Now that the show has wrapped, we are busy planning next year's show, which will be playing at Performance Works in June 2010. Stay tuned for updates!

We are also preparing for our Annual General Meeting in September. Check back in August for further details.
