Scotch & Chocolate is an original play by Heather Fischer featuring music by Kerry O’Donovan. It will be produced in association with Pipedream Theatre Project for the 2013 Vancouver International Fringe Festival.

Rehearsals: Monday & Wednesday evenings and Saturdays beginning July 22, 2013.
Performances: September 6, 8, 9, 12, 13 & 14, 2013 at Studio 16.
Cast of characters:
Veronica Perrin: Female, 20 – 30. A lovelorn dancer of the gentleman’s club with a habit of mistaking sex for love; she also just happens to be caught in the midst of a scandal with a well known public figure.
Simone Lily: Female, 25 – 30. A seasoned dancer of the gentleman’s club who finds pleasure to be the only motive to keep on living. Her past, however, is making her job difficult to bear.
Theodore Wells: Male, 30 – 35. An unconventional hit man with a heart of gold. His target; Veronica Perrin. His plight; he might actually love the girl.
Edwin Hawthorne: Male, 20 – 30. An obituary writer for the daily newspaper who finds in Veronica and her situation a story that may be the key to reboot his career as a journalist.
To audition, please submit a headshot and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org by June 9, 2013. Successful applicants will be assigned an audition time and asked to prepare a monologue of their choice. Those auditioning for the female roles will also be asked to prepare one song (a cappella) as well, and if asked to return for a callback they may be required to prepare an additional song (accompanied). Equity performers are welcome to audition under the CAEA Festival Policy.
